Wild Mike’s Ultimate Pizza is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the Team! We are the 19th largest independent frozen food manufacturer in the US located in Clackamas, OR, and we are experiencing exponential growth!

JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician maintains all company equipment in optimal working order. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, responsible for performing a variety of tasks to install, set-up, troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial food manufacturing equipment. Participate in installation, upgrade and maintenance of facility in accordance with safety and maintenance standards and processes to accomplish goals and objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
It is essential for all employees to adhere to Company policies
A. Ability to be at the physical location of the job at the designated shift assigned.
B. Perform scheduled and emergency repairs on plant utilities and equipment.
C. Troubleshoot all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems using test instruments when necessary
D. Work as a team with operators
E. Contact vendors on price, availability and purchase of parts and supplies if necessary
F. Install new equipment
G. Answer questions regarding operation of systems and equipment for entire facility
H. Assist with and prepare machinery setup for scheduled production runs
I. Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
J. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production. Diagnose and prioritize problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust as required to return machinery to service.
K. Perform prioritized and scheduled maintenance repairs.
L. Understand production systems and machinery thoroughly, diagnose sources of failure or downtime, identify and correct to avoid unnecessary or repeated downtime. Anticipate wear and/or downtime through routine observation and operator feedback.
M. Understand basic facilities and infrastructure (chillers, boilers, plumbing, electrical, HVAC) requirements and operating conditions, perform preventative maintenance as scheduled, repair unscheduled interruptions as needed to return systems to service and minimize operations downtime.
N. Perform additional duties as assigned by manager

Education/SKILL/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
A. High School Diploma/GED required
B. Technical classes relating to job
C. Electrical experience a MUST; electrical circuits, automated equipment controls etc.
D. Minimum 4-5 years’ mechanical experience
E. Valid Driver’s License – ability to drive and pick up parts
F. Preferred forklift experience.
G. Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
H. Experience with FDA/GMP/SQF/USDA compliance is preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
A. Standing/Walking: Continually- Most assignments and work functions are performed while standing and walking around facility
B. Sitting: Occasionally – Few assignments can be completed while either sitting or standing and only applies to certain work areas and/or work functions.
C. Crouching (bending at knees): Continually – Crouching is necessary when lifting materials, working on equipment
D. Reaching: Continually – All positions require continual handling of small parts and various materials. Overhead reaching is required.
E. Stooping (bend at waist): Often – May bend at waist while working on equipment
F. Kneeling: Often – Kneels to work on equipment and to retrieve materials from the floor.
G. Handling: Continually – Handles small components, papers, tools
H. Fingering/Feeling/Grasping: To manipulate computer, handles various paperwork, files, etc. Grasps writing instruments, adjust instruments used for analyses of materials etc.
I. Lifting/Carrying: Often – Heavy lifting required (100+lbs)
J. Seeing: have 20/20 vision or 20/30 corrected vision.
K. Climbing: Occasionally – climbs stairs/ladder to gain access to perform maintenance on equipment
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL HAZARDS
A. Ability to safely work on/around potentially dangerous equipment/machinery/tools with moving mechanical parts and chemical hazards.
B. Works in production environment with regular exposure to noise, cleaning agents including bleach.
C. Ability to work in a GMP/SQF compliant environment; wear hair net, beard net, etc.
D. Works in a production environment with temperatures varying from -10-100 degrees Fahrenheit
E. Must adhere to Company safety policies and wear the required personal protective equipment.
F. Ability to work in precarious places, on ladders and via other methods inside and outside.
G. Ability to work in tight/cramped spaces
H. Ability to work in high noise levels
