Job Overview
We are seeking candidates for a field service technician position on our team. As a field service technician you will be traveling to different sites and buildings throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington performing maintenance, repairs and safety inspection services on operable walls, bleachers, basketball assemblies and other gymnasium equipment systems.
The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical background and possess strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Punctuality & professionalism are essential to the position.

Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, repair and inspection of equipment at client locations.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues with client equipment.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate assessments of equipment performance.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery.
- Collaborate with clients to provide training on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
- Maintain detailed records of service performed, parts used, and any recommendations for future work.
- Conduct oneself with professionalism and abide by company standards and rules while on the job.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical background in a comparable field.
- Successful candidate must be a self-motivated individual who can work independently or in a team environment.
- Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Documents work performance and materials procurement as directed.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs, and possess mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lifting, and driving.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
- Willingness to spend on average two nights a week out of town, all expenses paid with room and per diem provided.
- Active and current driver license.
- Trailering experience is preferred but not required.
- Other assigned operational tasks as may be typically expected of the maintenance & mechanical role.
- Proficient in power tools, hand tools and measuring devices.
Physical Demands
- Repetitive climbing of ladders up to 12’ in height as a working position.
- Comfortable working in a scissor lift.
- Repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking
- Lifting parts and tools weighing on average 20 pounds, occasionally weighing up to 49 pounds
- Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals) manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)
- Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces.
- Some shifts of up to 12 hours on occasion.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
