Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and experience working on construction sites. This role involves installing, maintaining, and renovating electrical systems in commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize power tools and voltmeters for installation and troubleshooting tasks.
- Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or code violations.
- Renovate existing electrical installations as required by project specifications.
- Work with logic controllers and other advanced electrical equipment as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety practices.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with power tools, voltmeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
- Certification or licensure as an electrician is preferred but not mandatory.
- Personal transportation to work site.
- Ability to speak and understand English.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
