Campus Transportation Supervisor
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $58,000 to $65,000 DOE and Shift
Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the transportation team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing delivery routes for efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Has good understanding of driver routes and has a strong input on planning and scheduling the driver routes and schedules. Responsible for driver and dispatch compliance. Ensure efficiency all around.
· Ensures that orders are properly updated and processed in Transportation Management System ( TMS).
· Responsible for ensuring the vehicles are clean and meet maintenance standards and requirements.
· Reviews repair quotes and invoices from vendors.
· Initiates investigations and responds to and resolves customer complaints.
· Performs routine and random safety and compliance checks for drivers and equipment.
· Plans and orchestrates safety meetings with drivers and dispatchers.
· Responsible for employee performance management including timely discipline of employees.
· Initiates investigations into workplace accidents and safety incidents and ensures all required information and documentation is communicated to the proper authorities within the organization.
· Performs regular checks of the driver manifests to ensure the hours are being recorded accurately and the schedule is followed.
· Drives continuous improvements.
· Assures all SOPs are current, and processes are accurately documented.
· Maintain, develop and monitor KPIs.
· Run reports to track KPIs and take action to find solutions when KPIs are not met.
· Ensure vehicles involved in accidents or mechanical failures are reported to the proper authorities in a timely manner.
· Required to oversee operations throughout the shift.
· Ensure all new drivers have gone through the required trainings as per the SOP.
· Ensure state and federal agencies such as OSHA, DOT regulations are being followed.

Education/Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the transportation industry.
Certificates and Licenses:
Possess Valid Driver’s License. Forklift Certification preferred but not required.
