Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial and Industrial Plumber to join our fabrication shop in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will fabricate, assemble, and test plumbing systems and components for commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, experience working in a fabrication shop environment, and the ability to meet high-quality standards while adhering to deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble plumbing components, including pipes, valves, and fittings, according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure all fabricated components meet required standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following all safety protocols and shop procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues as they arise.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and industrial plumbing, with experience in a fabrication shop preferred.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Work hours range from 40 to 50 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
