Jomar Electrical Contractors is hiring Commercial Electrical Superintendents with proven background and experience in new commercial construction in numerous locations across Texas.
Candidates must have experience running commercial projects from $100K to $2 million and hold a current Texas Electrical Journeyman license. Candidates for either position must have at least 2-5 years of experience in their perspective positions
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using construction management software.
- Oversee daily operations on-site, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members.
- Implement safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Review schematics and project plans to ensure alignment with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize AccuBid and BlueBeam software for project tracking, budgeting, and reporting.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work performed.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly and effectively.
- Provide training and support to team members on best practices in construction management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including project scheduling and budgeting.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as HeavyBid and ProCore is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Excellent supervisory skills with a track record of leading successful teams.
- Proficient understanding of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining safety standards on-site.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with diverse stakeholders.

Pay: $95,298.00 - $103,372.00 per year
