POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:
The Collision Center General Manager holds primary responsibility for the successful operation of the entire Collision Center. This role includes developing and executing strategic business plans that ensure sustainable profitability and ongoing growth. The General Manager will lead by planning, motivating, and coordinating all departmental activities, while also cultivating business relationships with insurance adjusters, customers, and other sources to maintain adequate sales volumes. Key objectives include delivering reasonable operating profits, ensuring customer satisfaction, and controlling expenses.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Exemplify the Company’s mission statement by being an empowered, passionate, and positive leader who provides exceptional personalized service to customers and the community. Uphold the Standards of Excellence set forth by Dimmitt Automotive Group.
- Develop and present the Collision Center’s annual operational plan.
- Analyze monthly forecasts and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Manage all personnel functions within the Collision Center, including interviewing, hiring, evaluating performance, recognizing achievements, and handling terminations.
- Ensure quality control over the work produced by Service Technicians.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and developments related to SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training:
- At least five years of experience managing operations of a Certified Collision Center.
- Proven success in sustaining profitability and driving market growth.
- Strong working knowledge of body repair methods.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and managerial skills.
- Valid in-state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
