WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and improving our properties throughout San Francisco and surrounding areas. Your work will involve traveling to different locations to perform essential maintenance and ensure resident satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs.
- Address and complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare vacant units for occupancy, meeting established turnaround standards.
- Inspect property grounds and mechanical systems, resolving safety issues promptly.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance and ensure compliance with workplace safety policies.
- Work out of our corporate office as your base while managing responsibilities across the portfolio.
- Assist the Project Manager with inspections and special projects.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency maintenance repairs.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
** We’re seeking a Maintenance Technician who embodies our values of service, excellence, and integrity. Ideally, you’ll have the following:
- At least 2 years of maintenance or facilities experience.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to various properties throughout San Francisco and surrounding areas.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for an 8-hour shift.
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with a commitment to exceptional service.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- The ability to manage emergency on-call duties as needed.
- Candidates with a truck or SUV capable of transporting tools and materials are strongly preferred.
