As an HVAC Installer for HMC, you will be largely responsible for all HVAC-related installations for custom build construction projects, as well as being the lead installer on any system changeouts. Construction projects are not typically new build houses. These projects are typically remodels and additions for custom home builders.
Responsibilities:
- Remove and install furnaces, heat pumps, and package units
- Rough in construction projects and prepare for inspection
- Trim out construction projects
- Install flex duct, gas lines, duct trunk lines, venting, thermostat wiring, linesets
- Install / replace bath fans
- Install range hoods and microwaves
Experience:
- Previous experience as an HVAC installer or similar role
- Knowledge of HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Proficiency in HVAC construction
