Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems according to specifications.
- Conduct field service calls to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
- Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Perform welding tasks as required for system installations and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Skills
- Proficient in air conditioning design and installation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including ammonia refrigeration.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform hands-on tasks effectively.
- Experience in reading schematics and technical documentation related to HVAC systems.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various field environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Must have valid NC drivers license
