Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a roving HVAC Technician to join our team in Minneapolis!
Some things you can expect to do

Perform preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and service on building mechanical equipment and automation systems

Solicit bids and monitor subcontractor performance during testing and building systems inspections

Supervise or assist subcontractors with preventive maintenance, repairs, and projects occurring on building systems, equipment, or property

Participate in on-call, after hours and weekend rotation to ensure building efficiency and customer satisfaction

Work with property manager and your supervisor to ensure all building services, budgets, project planning, tenant improvements, and emergency plans are implemented properly

Respond, evaluate, and complete tenant and service requests as ordered

Provide monitoring of EMS / BMS systems by logging in and checking system status, alarms, and set points as it is necessary, approved, or justified by the owner, client, tenant, or manager

Troubleshooting, service, and repairs to EMS / BMS systems, mechanical systems and HVAC equipment

Provide system updates and upgrades

Provide network and access set up for EMS / BMS systems
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience in HVAC troubleshooting and repairs, building automation, and controls. Regional or local licensing/certifications to operate a building will be required. You must have a two-year technical degree (or equivalent) in HVAC or the operation of commercial buildings and equipment. Universal CFC is required.
You will really stand out if you have SMA, SMT, and/or LEED certification, and others as applicable.

Compensation
The base pay is $31.15 - $46.68 per hour. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
