Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning and heating units. This role requires a hands-on approach to service, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively, providing comfort and safety to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including air conditioning and heating units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment using tools such as an ohmmeter.
- Conduct repairs on refrigerant leaks, boilers, chillers and other HVAC components.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all service calls.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure optimal performance of all HVAC systems.
- Experience installing new boilers, heat pumps, fan coil units, RTU's, AHU's, chillers etc.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Familiarity with property maintenance practices is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required for service calls.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC technology or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.88 - $47.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
