We are an established service and new construction plumbing company with an immediate opening for an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to add to our team. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years recent experience in the field of plumbing estimating and project management. Candidate must be a sales and solutions oriented individual. The right candidate will possess the ability to accurately complete all aspects of estimating and project managing in plumbing which include but are not limited to:
Estimating
- Make accurate take-offs of material and labor hours while having a complete understanding of the specific requirements and physical conditions of projects bidding to ensure the profitability of projects
- Establish contacts and generate proposals for customers while building rapport
- Take it upon yourself to handle customer phone calls and requests in regards to sent proposals as well as future proposals
Project Management
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills to work with operations to make sure to have right equipment to do job
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills are a must
- Coordinate with field supervisors to assign field employees to jobs on a daily basis
- Audit and approve employee timesheets and expense reports
- Coordinate and meet with Field Supervisors to maintain Job Progress boards, keep track of job statuses and address any problems with jobs/employees
- Coordinate submittals, material orders and jobsite deliveries with Purchasing Department
- Manage job costs by tracking spending on material and man hours
- Provide change order proposals as needed to customers in expedient manner
- Determine billable costs each month for each project
- Must demonstrate an ability to work both independently and in a team based environment
- Demonstrate an ability in being flexible with priorities and work projects
- Review contracts to insure correct scope, price, etc. prior to transmittal for legal review and execution of contract
- Prepare and maintain project schedules and budgets and communicate project progress to company owners as needed
