Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This High end Apprentice level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, assisting with various tasks in both commercial and industrial settings. You will have the opportunity to learn about low voltage systems, power tools, and the National Electrical Code (NEC), while developing your skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on construction sites.
- Learn to read blueprints and technical diagrams to understand electrical layouts.
- Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.
- Help with troubleshooting electrical issues under the guidance of experienced electricians.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to NEC standards at all times.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of electrical systems and best practices.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of electrical principles, with a willingness to learn more about low voltage systems.
- Experience or coursework related to industrial or commercial electrical work is a plus.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in the electrical trade.
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites, demonstrating strong attention to safety.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques.
- Must be able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods as required by job duties.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on job assignments.

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- On call
- Overtime
