Job Summary
This role will assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
MUST HAVE:
- 5 YEARS OF 24V TROUBLESHOOTING
- 5 YEARS OF PLC EXPERIENCE.
- 5 years of 3 phase 480/277 and 120/240 volt electrical systems.
- MUST BE A JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN.
- AUTOMATED MACHINES EXPERIENCE.
SCHEDULE:
- ROTATING SHIFTS
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK DAY SHIFT (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK NIGHT SHIFT (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON WEEKENDS, ABOUT 10-20 HOURS OF OVERTIME WEEKLY.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HMI and PLC systems, ensuring uninterrupted automation processes.
- Identify and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in machinery, including PLC/HMI communication failures, solenoid and contactor issues, and restoring 24V communication.
- Conduct comprehensive repairs, rebuilds, and replacements of critical components, such as valves (ball, globe, relief, steam, pneumatic, control, and check valves), motors, gearboxes, reducers, hydraulic motors, pumps, hoses, and regulators.
- Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including cylinders, proportional and directional valves, and vacuum systems for suction within machinery.
- Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at the country, state, and federal levels
- Perform safety-related functions and other miscellaneous electrical functions
- Competent with the configuration of VFDs
- Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot PLCs

- Must possess a demonstrated ability to safely utilize a forklift and high lift
- Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot PLCs
- Must be physically capable of performing work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Proficient in testing and troubleshooting electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and megaohm meters, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
- Utilizing a systematic approach to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and avoid replacing parts.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED
- JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN
- Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
- Must be available to work 12-hour day and/or night shifts, weekends, call-outs, and overtime.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
