TEXAS REFINERY CORP, a leader in the specialty lubricants industry for more than 102 years, is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to work at our state-of-the-art factory located in Mansfield, TX. TRC manufactures a line of superior lubricants and related products marketed to manufacturing, agriculture, construction, transportation, and many other industries. Responsibilities include:
· Identify gaps and mitigate potential plant hazards, prepare for regulatory inspections, and implement corrective actions.
· Maintain and implement company safety and health policies.
· Assist in creation product literature, brochures, and labeling products.
· Author, revise, and maintain product safety data sheets.
· Assist in creating product literature, brochures, and labeling products.
· Monitor and coordinate pickups with vendors on waste/recyclables.
· Keep up to date on all VOC/restricted products regulations, maintain restricted products spreadsheets.
· Gather data and submit regulatory reporting including Annual Waste Summary, Tier II, TRI, Quarterly Mill pay.
· Develop, administer, and track annual safety training and daily toolbox talks including first aid trainings for plant and offices, maintain first aid supplies and AEDs.
· Maintain preventative maintenance scheduling and records including HVAC, Generator, Compressors, Forklifts, Hot oil heaters, and Boiler.
· Conduct monthly/Quarterly inspections in plant and lab
Qualifications:
· Experience working with Local, State, and Federal US Agencies for legalization and registration requirements of documents.
· Ability to raise issues with colleagues and managers in a proactive, professional manner.
· Ability to build relationships across functional boundaries at multiple levels.
· Strong technical, analytical, and critical thinking skills, including strong project management skills.
· IMCO/IMDG, DOT, RCRA, IATA, CHMM and CDGP Certifications preferred not required
