Summary
Admission Coordinators are responsible for screening and qualifying each potential client, providing necessary information to prospective client’s families and/or referring professionals who are seeking treatment and completing a thorough and comprehensive assessment. Admission Coordinators should be well versed in the admission process, have the ability to manage all aspects of an admission, coordinate with appropriate team members, and ensure for complete documentation in all required databases throughout the admission process.
Responsibilities
· Answer inbound phone calls, chats, and emails for potential clients, loved ones, and referring professionals.
· Disposition calls in CallTrackingMetrics and note all activity in Salesforce.
· Obtain personal information from a caller for financial obligations, insurance verification, medical/mental health necessities, legal obligations, family/social support, employment/employer information.
· Provide accurate information on the process of addiction and recovery to potential clients and their families.
· Complete thorough pre-assessments with potential clients.
· Assess treatment eligibility as determined by the criteria for admission, insurance policies, and working directly with the clinical staff at our facilities.
· Responsible for obtaining reports from outside professionals (referring physicians, hospitals, and treatment facilities).
· Act as a liaison for referral sources (provides updates on admission and discharge information to referral source).
· Arrange travel and coordinate transportation with facilities.
· Collect patient responsibility and negotiate payment plans.
· Adhere to ethical obligations and duties regarding professional conduct with clients, colleagues, and organizations.
· Develop and maintain the Admissions Database
· Collaborate with multiple departments, including management, to ensure that Admissions are able to access additional care and/or address issues with prior services in a timely manner
· Ensures compliance with HIPAA, 42CFR regulations and other mandates regarding client care and confidentiality.
· Coordinates all travel for all facilities

Qualifications
· High school diploma and/or bachelor’s degree in a Behavioral Health field, preferred
· Minimum of two years experience in the field of Behavioral Health or other relevant industry
· CRM, Sales and Call center experience, preferred
· Current TB test and CPR/First Aid certification
· If in recovery from a substance use disorder, must have at least two years of continuous sobriety
· Knowledge of addiction treatment and 12-Step programs

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
