We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Service Technician – HVAC to join our team. This role involves evaluating, repairing and maintaining cold storage equipment and ice machines, as well as testing and setting up compressors for walk-in cooler systems. The ideal candidate will ensure all service requests are completed promptly within company service level agreements (SLAs) and maintain the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the condition of cold storage restaurant equipment and ice machines to determine repairability.
- Perform necessary repairs on equipment or discard equipment that is deemed irreparable.
- Test and set up compressors on walk-in cooler systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Complete service requests on refurbished products within the company’s SLA timeline.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment effectively to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to company protocols, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Industry knowledge and the ability to operate a mobile device for service documentation and communication
- 5 years of prior work experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or related field is preferred
- Welding skills are a plus, but not required
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in varying conditions, including confined spaces and outdoor environments
- Capable of standing, bending, and climbing for extended periods
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
