Sierra A.
Skills
I have about three years of experience in Set Design, and the skills required for that job, such as knowledge of color theory, lighting, design styles, being able to draw by hand and digitally, and most importantly, collaboration to achieve a certain vision; also apply to interior design jobs. Being a Production Designer also often requires leading and managing a team in your department to ensure the final product is cohesive and all deadlines are met.
About
Hello! My name is Sierra, and I am a film student at the University of Texas at Austin where I've been working towards a career in Production/Set Design for films. Now that I am headed into my senior year, I am looking for a job that aligns more with my personal interests and career goals. My current part-time job is catering for Amy's Ice Creams where I have recently received a merit-based promotion and raise for my leadership, organization, hard work, problem-solving, and attention to detail. I also received extra responsibilities including taking inventory, keeping our equipment clean and organized, and training new hires. Outside of work and school, I do Set Design for local short films and music videos where my passion for design and storytelling pushes me to make each project better than the last.
