Skills
I started off duct sealing and connecting duct for 6 months as a first year apprentice and started to hang/run duct off VAV’s for the rest of the year when I decided to move to a company where I was taught to hang duct in apartments such ass running pipe off units going with the main pipe and branch off flex tied to boots, running dryer/exhaust pipe, running and wiring thermostats. I was also jumping between residential and commercial where in residential I was the helper installing indoor units, connecting the return and supply box running flex from it and running copper from the indoor unit to the outside unit. I was slowly moving into soldering copper, vacuuming and adding refrigerant but due to lack of jobs and days of no work i didn’t get to grasp that skill
