- Perform routine maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC and grocery store rack systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and recommending appropriate repairs.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to assess performance, identify potential issues, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Install, repair, and replace HVAC system components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and refrigerant lines.
- Test HVAC controls, sensors, and thermostats to ensure proper operation and calibration.
- Perform refrigerant handling procedures, including recovery, recycling, and recharging, in compliance with EPA regulations.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their heating and cooling needs, provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements, and develop maintenance plans.
- Document service activities, including maintenance tasks performed, parts used, and any recommendations for future repairs or upgrades.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to customers and other HVAC technicians as needed.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices in commercial and industrial HVAC service.
