Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, multi-tasking abilities, and be a self starter. The Maintenance Person will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient Christian environment for everyone on campus.

Duties

Ability to use hand and power tools to accomplish the above duties
Research and clear purchase order issues work orders
Maintain cleanliness of all facilities
Clean, paint, and assist with building maintenance as required
Keep grounds orderly by policing
Perform light building repair and maintenance
Pickup of materials as needed
Completes preventative maintenance checks and work orders
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot tasks as required. Requires the ability to routinely move, lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50-75 lbs

Experience

Self starter
Performs other duties as necessary and assigned
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code
Effectively and safely operates hand tools, pneumatic tools, air compressors and other small equipment related to the maintenance trades
Additional trade specific courses preferred
Prefer five (5) years’ experience in maintenance of general facilities and possess knowledge of repairs for lift stations, electrical, plumbing, air conditioners.
Ability to multitask
