Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility. This position requires a strong background in industrial maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency in both low and high voltage systems. The Building Engineer will ensure that all systems are functioning optimally, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of building systems including HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions using appropriate tools such as an Ohmmeter.
Perform welding tasks as needed to maintain structural integrity and safety of the facility.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure all equipment is operating efficiently.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff to minimize downtime.
Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce the risk of equipment failure.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards within the facility.

Skills

Proficient in low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
Familiarity with HVAC/R systems and their operation within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals related to building systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
