Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility. This position requires a strong background in industrial maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency in both low and high voltage systems. The Building Engineer will ensure that all systems are functioning optimally, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of building systems including HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions using appropriate tools such as an Ohmmeter.
- Perform welding tasks as needed to maintain structural integrity and safety of the facility.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure all equipment is operating efficiently.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff to minimize downtime.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce the risk of equipment failure.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards within the facility.
Skills
- Proficient in low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
- Familiarity with HVAC/R systems and their operation within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals related to building systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
