Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in alarm/low voltage system installation, maintenance, and repair. This role involves working with low voltage systems, utilizing computer software, various tools and equipment to ensure the safety and security of our clients' properties. The employee will be responsible for installing all hardware in a professional and clean manner.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair alarm and low voltage systems, ensuring they function correctly and meet industry standards.
Conduct thorough inspections of existing systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively during installation and repair tasks.
Build custom solutions based on client specifications and requirements.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
Document all service calls, installations, and repairs accurately for record-keeping purposes.

Skills

Proficiency in alarm system sales and installation techniques.
Strong understanding of low voltage systems and cabling practices.
Experience as a field service technician with hands-on experience in the industry.
Familiarity with computer hardware relevant to alarm systems and basic electronics is preferred.
Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools for installation tasks.
Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and support.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in technical tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
