Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including cabling, surveillance, fire alarm systems, and telecommunications. This role involves working on-site to install, maintain, and troubleshoot various low voltage systems while ensuring high-quality service delivery to our clients.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems including cabling, surveillance cameras, and speaker system.
Conduct field service visits to diagnose and resolve issues with existing installations.
Collaborate with clients to understand their system design requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on installed systems.
Detect and troubleshoot system malfunctions efficiently to minimize downtime.
Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional service.

Requirements

Certification in low voltage systems or related fields is preferred.
Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role within the telecommunications industry.
Strong knowledge of cabling standards and installation practices.
Familiarity with surveillance systems and fire alarm technologies.
Ability to telecommunicate effectively with team members and clients for troubleshooting support.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to detect issues quickly.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
3 years minimum experience in low voltage/alarm field
Experienced with IQ3/IQ4 Qolsys and neo alarm systems

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $1,200.00 - $2,500.00 per week
