Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high voltage electrical systems, with a strong background in residential electrical work. Experience with low voltage and commerical electrical work is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems.
Renovate existing electrical installations to meet updated codes and standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.
Utilize hand tools and voltmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
Ensure compliance with NEC regulations during all electrical work.
Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects.
Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs.
Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices as needed.

Requirements

Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of electrical schematics.
Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in electrical work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and working at heights.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
