Job Summary
We are Vassars Service of Richmond and we are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various HVAC units. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and efficiently while ensuring the highest standards of service are met.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including heat pumps, air conditioning systems, and gas heating systems.
Troubleshoot issues using diagnose tools and schematics to identify problems in HVAC systems.
Perform regular maintenance checks on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Physically perform mechanical functions as needed for repairs or installations.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs and service options.
Document all service work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
Ability to learn and use company software systems for tracking and reporting.
Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the service industry.
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals.
Familiarity with refrigerants and compliance with safety regulations regarding their handling.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
Teachable willing to learn
High ethics and service attitude
Certification in HVAC or relevant technical training is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
