Job Description:

Receives products into the computer system and stores them in a timely manner.
Maintains accurate, clean, and orderly warehouse and store show room.
Inspects products of shortages, damages and prepares appropriate documentation.
Prepares, packs, and stages products for inter-store transfer and customer pick-up and delivery in accordance with established standards (e.g. hazardous materials). Ensures that packaging is sufficient to avoid damage.
Processes documentation necessary to ship inter-store transfers and customer orders.
Loads delivery vehicles and assists customers with will call pickups.
Operates hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, and other equipment safely and in accordance with organizational procedures.
Load vehicles and coordinate with Branch Manager on efficient and priority deliveries for each day
Deliver materials safely to customers and unloads to customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

High School Diploma / GED required
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Experience driving a forklift preferred
Experience with computer preferred
Clean driving record and Valid Driver’s License
Able to obtain DOT Health certification and Class E license

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, carry, and load up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day; balance on ladders, portable stairs and like equipment; walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl; and reach, push, pull and manipulate. The employee is also frequently required to lift in excess of 100 pounds with mechanical assistance or the assistance of coworkers.

Work Environment: Most work is performed in a warehouse environment without air conditioning, which may include hot and cold temperatures, dust, dirt, and noise.

Candidate must be a self starter and able to work without a lot of direction.

Must be available to work 7am-5pm and Saturdays from 8am to Noon. Typical shift is 8:00 or 8:30 to 5pm and at least every other Saturday. Overtime during our peak summer months will be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
