Job Summary:
HVAC Superintendent’s oversight of all phases of HVAC construction, equipment and material installation.

HVAC Superintendent Duties and Responsibilities:

Accountable for quality installation of the project.
Reviewing submittals for accuracy and compliance.
Identifying potential change orders and communicating them to the Project Manager.
Assist Project Mangers job projections, coordinate deliveries and attend cost/job reviews.
Capacity to supervise 2 foremen.
Manage multiple commercial HVAC projects at a time
Knowledgeable on measuring all types of ductwork.
Interpret plumbing and HVAC drawings
Plan, schedule, and coordinate on-site functions with General Contractors and General Superintendents.
Perform material take-offs, ordering, materials, and equipment in a timely fashion to maximize field productivity.
Locating and marking of structural supports for RTU’s and equipment
Coordination of installation between trades.
Ensure all on-site employees comply with OSHA standards
Work with the Project Manager to bring the job in on time and under budget.

- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components

- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members

HVAC Superintendent Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a Commercial HVAC Superintendent.
At least 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction,
Proven leadership and supervisory skills and a team player.
Must be detailed oriented and demonstrate organizational and planning skills.

Education/Certification requirements:

OSHA 10

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
