*Overview*

We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in residential and light commercial electrical work working for an electrical contractor, possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, and demonstrate proficiency in using various tools and equipment.

*Responsibilities*

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential settings

- Perform electrical renovations and upgrades as needed

- Troubleshoot electrical issues using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools

- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards

- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

*Skills*

- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician or similar role

- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components

- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams

- Excellent troubleshooting skills

- Certification as a Journeyperson Electrician is preferred

- Previous experience as a maintenance person or in industrial electrician roles is a plus
