Overview

Watergen is a leading provider of sustainable Atmospheric Water Generation (AWG) solutions, headquartered in Petah Tikvah, Israel. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join our team at the Americas Headquarters in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in HVAC, electrical systems, or maintenance services, coupled with exceptional leadership and customer service expertise.

Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations of the service department and provide technical troubleshooting support as needed.
Offer expert technical guidance to customers, both virtually and in person, for troubleshooting and installation processes.
Ensure strict adherence to quality control and safety regulations.
Manage and optimize workflow efficiency and service processes.
Develop and implement strategies aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction.
Conduct training sessions for staff and customers on new technologies and procedures.
This role requires occasional domestic and international travel; a valid passport is necessary.

Qualifications

Proven experience in electrical, HVAC, gas systems, or maintenance operations.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong sales and upselling capabilities.
Previous experience in a technical role.
Proficiency with CMMS for updating service orders, tracking inventory, and managing parts orders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask efficiently, and demonstrate flexibility to learn and grow in various areas, including new customer sales, lead follow-up, and hosting high-level business visitors for facility tours.

Preferred Qualifications

EPA/HVAC or Electrical License.
OSHA Certifications.
Bachelor’s degree.
