Commercial HVAC Service Technicians

Ivey Mechanical Company, LLC, a leader in the commercial and industrial HVAC and Plumbing contracting business with ten offices located throughout the Southeast, is growing and seeking Commercial HVAC Service Technicians for their Georgia Service Division located in Metro-Atlanta.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on all types of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and systems
Diagnose HVAC systems and determine the requirements for parts, materials, supplies, tools and equipment to accomplish proper operation and/or repair
Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to apprentices
Maintain logs and records of all repair and maintenance functions
Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act
Comply with service standards, work instructions, and Customer requirements
Operate specialized testing equipment required to diagnose and test HVAC systems
Maintain service vehicle, tools, equipment, and supplies in a safe and orderly condition
Participate in on-call rotation duties

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience with mobile applications required during the process of daily work functions
A minimum of five (5) years as a HVAC technician in a commercial and/or industrial environment (preferably working from a service vehicle), and willingness to continue education in HVAC field. Will consider experience with residential equipment on case-by-case basis.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR
Comply with Drug-Free Workplace requirements
Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
