Assistant Project Manager Plumbing & HVAC

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager who has a desire to learn about the mechanical and construction industry. This candidate would learn to help verify the design and constructability of the systems; highlight any issues and work with the design team and construction management teams to preemptively correct problems and resolve any issues. They will gain a general understanding of managing the progress, accuracy, and execution of the company’s work within the contract scope, dollar amount and agreed-upon schedule. They will assist in the oversight of estimation, coordination, fabrication, and field installation processes. They will work to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations; analyze, manage, and mitigate risks on all aspects of the project and ensure quality construction standards throughout the duration of the project.

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or related work experience
Strong time management and organizational skills
General problem-solving knowledge with a self-starter mentality
Understanding of Massachusetts plumbing code 248CMR preferred
Design, Develop and Enforce management Protocol & Standards w/ Project Manager and office staff
Strong written / oral communication & team skills
Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
Bluebeam Revu (Preferred)
