We are looking for a Plumber's apprentice with some experience to assist with plumbing tasks ranging from new and remodel installation for residential homes to commercial tenant improvements. Must be positive person with a practical mind and manual dexterity, able to work efficiently with attention to detail.
Must work well with others, have a good attitude and take instruction well.
Responsibilities - Learn and Apprentice To:
- Cut, assemble and install pipes with attention to existing infrastructure
- Install and service water supply systems
- Solder and press copper
- Install and secure PEX, ABS and PVC
- Thread and press rigid pipe for gas systems
- Install sewer and sanitary systems
Skills
- Have attention to detail
- Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, mega-press, etc)
- Good communication skills
- Friendly and patient
- Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
- Drug free
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
