Motown Heating, Cooling & Refrigeration, Inc. A growing mechanical contractor, is looking to expand our team with a Lead HVAC Installer. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals passionate about serving the Greater Detroit Metropolitan community.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Location: Detroit, MI (Applicants must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work)
Open Position:
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform HVAC installations for residential and commercial systems
- Ensure all work meets industry and company standards
- Train and mentor junior team members as needed
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of proven experience in the HVAC trade (preferred)
- Expertise in residential or commercial HVAC installation
- HVAC certification required
- EPA Universal certification required
- Valid driver's license required
- Minimum of a high school education
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, and climbing ladders or stairs extensively
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as we operate 24/7, 365 days a year
- Candidates must pass a background check upon hiring (no felony convictions)
