Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Refrigeration/Commercial Ice Maker Technician to join our team on a permanent/full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial refrigeration and ice maker systems, including the principles of superheat and sequences. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing refrigeration and ice maker equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and excellent customer service. We have been in business for 70 years so we are looking for someone to help us maintain our great reputation.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial refrigeration and ice maker systems
- Strong understanding of superheat, sequences, and related principles
- Excellent mechanical and electrical skills
- Honest, punctual, and reliable work ethic
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities
- Strong customer service skills
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration and ice maker equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of work orders
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards
Requirements:
- Relevant certifications or technical training in commercial refrigeration and ice maker systems
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments
