Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC/Heating Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure optimal performance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to our clients while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment.
- Perform equipment repairs and replacements as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Document all service calls and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC/R installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, heating units, refrigeration processes, and related equipment.
- Ability to perform field service tasks including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Proficiency in welding techniques as required for certain repairs or installations.
- Experience with property maintenance is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
