Overview:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician with Class A license to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including heating units, air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils and filters
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions
- Repair or replace defective parts or components
- Test system performance using specialized tools and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an HVAC Technician or in a related field
- Proficient in HVAC/R systems and their components
- Knowledge of reading and interpreting schematics
- Experience working with boilers and ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues
- Ability to plumb and weld as needed for system installation or repair
- Previous experience in field service or property maintenance is preferred
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants (Type I and II)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
