Join our team as a Special Projects Manager, where you’ll manage exciting projects from start to finish, cultivate client relationships, and drive departmental growth.
About the Role
As a Special Projects Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, seeking new opportunities, and contributing to the success of our Special Projects Department.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope to meet client needs and provide innovative solutions.
- Create and manage project budgets for materials and labor.
- Actively monitor project timelines, costs, and income.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate and complete.
- Pursue new leads and secure opportunities for the department.
- Oversee projects in residential, small MDU, and light commercial sectors.
- Communicate daily with field staff, customers, and business partners to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure projects comply with company standards, safety protocols, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Actively participate in the company’s Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), including weekly L10 meetings and quarterly goal achievements.
Requirements
- 5+ years as a licensed electrician, required.
- Proven ability to manage jobs according to schedules and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, other trades, and union agreements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work at a desk for prolonged periods.
