Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Service Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, demonstrating proficiency in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with NEC standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using various tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Work with high voltage systems safely and effectively.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform frame carpentry as needed for electrical installations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure project completion.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
