Service Manager you will oversee daily operations of a developing team of nested AQUA Pros operating two water treatment plants nested at a single industrial customer site. You should be comfortable interacting directly with customers daily, have experience managing budgets to a margin target, and be able to lead a team in optimizing plant operation, implementing improvement strategies, and most importantly, ensuring SAFETY is the primary focus of every member of your team. Core Responsibilities and Tasks

Operational Leadership: Lead and manage plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, and quantity goals are met while adhering to customer environmental regulations. Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize performance and efficiency while implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of AQUA Pros with a range of experience levels. Foster a collaborative, inclusive and high-performance work environment that values diversity, teamwork, and innovative thinking where safe sustained production is paramount. Effectively communicate expectations and verify compliance to drive accountability.

Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage budgets for plant operations to a margin goal. Oversee inventory management, procurement, and cost control measures. Ensure efficient use of resources to safely minimize operational and overtime costs.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company/ customer policies. Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Work with branch safety professional to conduct regular safety audits with a focus on safety improvements and address any action items promptly.

Reporting and Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report daily on plant performance both internally and externally with and without upper management. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide recommendations to senior management and engineering based on findings
Education:
Associates degree strongly preferred
Technical degree, equivalent military experience or applicable industry equivalent experience in lieu of degree
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in plant operations in a heavy industrial or production setting. Experience in water treatment greatly preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with industrial equipment, and safety regulations. Proficiency in process optimization, simple data analysis, and basic water chemistry.
Proficient with computers, business software such as Microsoft office, Skype, Oracle/SAP, cloud-based solutions
Communicate verbal and written
Lead and motivate teams
Demonstrates critical thinking and complex trouble shooting in or to guide and advise team members and customers
DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to operate a company vehicle
- Valid Driver’s License
DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Report to site office M-F starting at 0645 each day. PAV is included with this role.
- Manage time between supporting reports directly in the field/ control room and completing office work (60:40)
- Communicate and collaborate with leadership, peers, engineering support, and customer daily
- Standard weekly job hours: 40 - 50 hours.
- On call one week out of every 7 weeks
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: <5% - As experience develops begin learning the nearby plants and systems to better support during on call rotation

Salary range:
$91,500.00 - $164,500.00
