The Assistant Manager will travel to assist in the development and execution of Fence Outlet’s business strategies to support business goals and objectives while supporting the company’s mission, vision and values.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in determining staffing requirements
- Hire and train new staff
- Supervise direct reporting staff according to overall company policy
- Set employee goals and objectives
- Develop staff to maximize potential
- Monitor staff performance including performance reviews
- Delegate work duties to staff
- Allocate use of available resources
- Monitor and assist staff with work progress
- Evaluate current business processes and systems
- Plan and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency
- Establish and maintain controls
- Formulate department/unit policies and practices
- Co-ordinate financial and budget activities for maximum operational efficiency
- Facilitate the preparation and analysis of reports
- Review performance data (financial, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels
- Responsible for the achievement of department/division/unit productivity and quality goals
- Organize and manage business meetings

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school is most preferred. Minimal requirement is a High School Diploma
- This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of like/similar experience preferably supporting a manufacturing or production capacity.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to continuously see. Must be able to frequently stand, walk, view computer monitors, give & receive oral communication, bend, squat, reach above shoulder level, and discern color. Must be able to occasionally sit, drive, type, and make fine discrimination in sound.
- Must be able to regularly lift/carry up to 10 lbs.; occasionally lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to do repetitive simple grasping, fine manipulation, and pushing & pulling on a frequent basis.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and drive to and from work locations.
- Must be able to travel as required for company business. (company vehicle available)
- As needed work a varied schedule that could include nights, weekends and holidays.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
