Overview:
NeuroPsychiatric Hospital of Indianapolis is currently searching for a Director of Plant Operations for our psychiatric hospital in Indianapolis, IN. The Director of Plant Operations is a key leadership team member for the hospital and will have primary oversight of maintenance and environmental services department to ensure a safe, high-quality experience for our patients, staff, guests, and visitors.

Responsibilities:
This is a hands-on role that will be responsible for basic maintenance around the facility. Knowledge of light drywall repair, light plumbing and electrical, and troubleshooting abilities is necessary to be successful in this position. In addition, the director of plant operations will be accountable for:
- Planning and organizing department resources
- Managing all aspects associated with the maintenance and upkeep of the facility.
- Oversee the housekeeping and maintenance departments and their staff as assigned. Direct and perform the maintenance, repairs, mechanical systems, fire, life safety, and equipment management for the facility.
- Ensure the preparation of various statistical and operating reports for the hospital's Safety/Risk Committee and up to the governing board.
- Responsible for assigned departmental performance improvement and quality initiatives consistent with organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma required
Experience: Two years of hospital plant operations experience is preferred
Experience with basic maintenance tasks, including: drywall repair and painting, light plumbing, electrical, landscaping, and sanitation
Excellent problem solver with the ability think critically while managing multiple tasks
Familiarity with Joint Commission and State standards for hospital safety and operation a plusEEDMF
