Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and a passion for delivering high-quality service. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, diagnosing electrical, air, hydraulic and computer issues and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
Duties:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including services, and brake replacements
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with trucks and equipment
- Perform advanced repairs, such as engine and transmission work
- Collaborate with management to ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Work with automotive diagnostics equipment to identify and address problems with trucks and equipment
- Use power tools and equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with employees
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements and best practices
- Meet deadlines and manage workload effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks
Requirements:
- Experience as a Mechanic with a strong background in automotive repair
- Knowledge of CNG/ diesel engine repair and powertrain technology
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics equipment
- Experience working in fleet maintenance
- Proficiency with power tools and equipment
- Mechanical knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL driver's license
