Position: HVAC/R Service Technician
Hourly Wage: $35.00 - $65.00/hr (depending on experience)
Type: Full-time (Permanent)
Overview
Our client is a mechanical contracting company that has a strong HVAC/R service division. They provide service for commercial projects and service all types of heating, refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. The company has been in business for 40+ years and provides ongoing training to ensure the quality, efficiency and up-to-date knowledge of their employees.
Responsibilities
- Service HVAC/R systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot refrigeration and air conditioning units.
- Conduct routine inspections and service calls, providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used, and ensure a valid driver's license for transportation of tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
- 5 + years of HVAC/R experience.
- Refrigeration experience - rack refrigeration, reach-ins, walk-ins, ice machines, chillers,
- Experience with rooftop units, mini-splits, VRF and VRV units, fan coil units, and cooling towers
- Valid drivers license & a clean driving record,
- Must agree to a background check and drug test

Pay: $35.00 - $65.00 per hour
