## Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry and possess knowledge of various restoration techniques. As a Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the restoration of properties affected by fire, water, mold, and other damages.
## Duties
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform restoration tasks
- Conduct fire restoration, mold remediation and water mitigation.
- Assist in building and restoring damaged structures to their pre-loss condition
- Clean and sanitize affected areas to ensure safety and health standards are met
- Packs and stores contents as required
- Removes and disposes of non-salvageable materials
- Extracts water and moisture from buildings using commercial equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers and air scrubbers
- Cleans and maintains equipment and work vehicles
- Complies with federal, state and company safety and environmental rules
- The company has the right to add or change duties at any time
## Requirements
- Prior experience in the restoration industry is preferred
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of fire restoration, mold remediation and water mitigation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Licenses/Certifications: IICRC preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Extended hours
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
