Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts
- Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids
- Assemble fittings and valves for installation
- Modify length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed
- Use saws and pipe cutters as necessary
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems
- Respond to plumbing emergencies promptly
Experience
- Proven experience as a plumber in commercial or residential settings
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and tools
- Strong understanding of plumbing techniques and methods
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in various environments including construction sites
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
