We are seeking outgoing and customer-centric individuals to join our 7 valley locations as Exterior Design Guides.
What You Will Do
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, engaging in conversation to understand their previous experience with outdoor furniture, their outdoor space, and their inspirations, wants and needs, so you can guide them to the furniture that aligns with their lifestyle.
- Guide customers through their shopping journey, providing expert advice and answering any questions they may have. Your goal is to ensure customers have a delightful shopping experience so they become life-long clients and brand advocates.
- Understand and be able to articulate the features, benefits and unique selling points of our product offerings.
- Stay in contact with customers yet to buy and those who already have to ensure you and Paddy O’ Furniture are their first thought whenever they are ready to make a purchase.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently through our point-of-sale system. Manage your orders through delivery and document future opportunities.
- Contribute to the overall success of the showroom by helping maintain showroom cleanliness.
What You Bring
- A genuine love for interacting with a diverse customer base and an ability to build strong and lasting relationships with them.
- Strong verbal communication skills and active listening skills to engage with customers effectively. Strong written communication skills in both text and email formats used in follow up with customers.
- A customer-first mindset, striving to exceed their expectations.
- Ability to identify sales opportunities and ask for the sale.
- A team-first approach which allows you to work seamlessly with colleagues and maintain a positive work environment.
- A friendly and optimistic demeanor that brightens the day of customers and coworkers alike.
- Ability to work weekends. Upwards of 70% of our sales can be traced back to weekend traffic.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and occasionally move furniture around the showroom for a client.
