Job Description
Position Title: Asset Specialist
Reports to: Assets Manager
Pay Classification: Non-Exempt
Pay Type: Hourly
Summary
An Asset Specialist keeps track of the goods and supplies in a store or warehouse and manages orders to facilitate sales or production. Their duties include signing off on shipments, counting the number of available products and submitting or placing orders for more inventory according to demand.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Ensure daily counter sales are supported, managed, and completed utilizing technology and manual processes when necessary.
· Provide asset rental equipment transaction support, moving, out-going inspection, loading, returning and preventative maintenance as required.
· Monitors and maintains inventory levels.
· Performs cycle counts and records results.
· Supports the Lead Asset Specialist with purchase order needs, process, receiving, shipping, changes and movement of Assets whenever required.
· Utilizing technology and on-hands assessments, compiles inventory information such as product counts, movement of products and needs for minimal replacement of products when levels reach the reorder/replenishment threshold.
· Provide deliveries and pick up of asset related needs or requirements to maintain effective business operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED certificate
· May require 2-4 year of general work experience.
· Valid Driver’s License
· Must be insurable
· Ability to follow instructions.
· Ability to use power and hand tools.
· Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion.
· Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
· Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts, run reports, analyze reports and compile reports

· Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
· Solid ability to use prudent judgment and problem-solving skills to make reasonable and appropriate decisions and recommendations.
· Safe working habits, equipment repair shop safety, tool use and lifting equipment safety and vehicle operation safety
· Must adhere to all hazardous material/hazardous waste handling and disposal regulations
· Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 80 pounds

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
